Get your website ranked quickly (and ranked well) on Google

Onwards with the “Big Ideas” !

Above this post, on the navigation bar, you’ll see a link which says ‘Site Directory’. This link is going to be your friend.

But more on that later.

One of the keys (and that’s actually should be read: K*E*Y*S) of getting your site linked quickly AND getting ranked well on Google (actually ALL search engines – but Google is the hairy, big-daddy, monster of the bunch so I’ll just refer to them from now on) is by getting quality links to your website from other websites.

Easier said than done.

Some quality websites are relatively easy to get a link to your website on.

All you need to do is solve the Rubik’s cube, dance like Wacko Jacko and sing in a voice Simon Cowell of American Idols fame would describe as ‘angelic’.

All at the same time.

Other methods to get linked are far more difficult.

And all include pleading, perserverance and reams of money.

For example you can get a quality link on IOL (the newspaper website) for round R10k – R15k PER month ex VAT.

But (and I’ve been told I need to keep my blog posts shorter so I’m gonna) there is an easier way.

And surprise, surprise Afrihost’s clients get it for free.

We’re launching it in 2 weeks time and I’ll tell you more in the days to come!

Have a great Women’s Day tomorrow (even if you’re not a woman)

Gian.
